  4. @slanker786

Health care insurance reform benefits everyone but the most direct benefit is to those heroic Americans who are working too hard and earning too much to be eligible for Medicaid, but who can’t afford health insurance.

    That IS the working class!

The Democratic Party exists to serve ordinary working American families, NOT the super-rich, who earn ten million a year and don’t need help.

  13. I support no more corn subsidizing just because I am tired of having to buy coke cola from Mexican stores to get real sugar in it. Mexican coke taste so much crisper and does not have the sticky taste.

  21. Federal Authorites Make Arrest After Threats Against Congressman.
After all the excited rhetoric about violent, extremist Tea Partiers (and conservatives in general), its interesting that its a man (Liberal) going after a Republican that gets taken down first. Its not like you can argue the Justice Department is overrun with righties.

  22. Thanks guys. Taxes really aren’t that overwhelming, just takes a bit of focus.

I think the tax forms still need a bit more simplification, so everybody can do them.

The best advice I can give is that you pay a preparer once, then save the tax template, and copy what they did next year doing taxes yourself. That way you understand where the numbers come from.

+ don’t forget to print out tax tables, instructions, etc.

  23. I am surprised that all but 2 of those situations actually apply to me! I’m grateful to actually get money back for once during tax season, and thankful for the recovery act. none of bush’s “tax cuts” helped me directly…not one of them.

So, thanks….from someone at the bottom of the middle class tax bracket. these tax helps are much appreciated.

Its going to these ObamaGrifters and giving them YOUR MONIES! …..and some of that Social Security you keep mindlessly paying in! Until it is all gone. And these “rebates” drained the last dime out of the Govern-mental Piggy Bank! Such friendly edicts and idiocy and all going to result in a TAX TAX TAX …we can never ever repay!
